One day, Bill takes the lawyer to a house where he believes the witness lives. The lawyer knocks on the door, and a woman answers. She introduces herself as Oliver Lutkins’ mother and says that her son is not at home. Just as the lawyer is about to leave, he hears a voice from behind.

“Yep, that’s right. I’m not home,” says the voice.

The lawyer turns around and sees Oliver Lutkins standing there. It turns out that Lutkins is the hack driver, Bill Magnuson, and he has been playing a trick on the lawyer all along.

The lawyer becomes angry and demands that Lutkins serve the legal document himself. Lutkins agrees and delivers the document to the witness. Finally, the lawyer completes his task, but he feels embarrassed by the whole experience.
